Project: Aura Guides

From the first redeem to a build that is not a copy of the lobby.

Guides Hub

This hub is the map of every Project: Aura tutorial on the wiki. Rival Ducks launched an RNG hybrid with almost ten systems around the roll button. If you only chase tickets, you will miss the part of the game that actually decides who wins: build crafting, the upgrade tree, exploration, and a luck-relief layer that is not a normal pity timer.

Start at getting started if this is your first session. Claim code RELEASE before you read anything else. Then pick the guide that matches the wall you are hitting: how to get Prism, beginner mistakes, or the index and milestones track.

First hour

The first hour is not a DPS check. Server size is 8. You will see other players’ VFX. Do not spend Prism copying the loudest aura in the lobby until you know what role you are building. The character collection page explains how the 42+ roster is meant to be read as tools, not as a completionist checklist on day one.

Progression systems

Project: Aura advertises a stack of systems that sit around rolling:

  • Characters with custom animations, VFX, and sound — ranked by role on the character tier list.
  • Runes, potions, and food — the mix-ins that make two players with the same drop feel different. Deep dive: runes and potions.
  • Upgrade tree — long-run multipliers and unlocks. Guide: upgrade tree.
  • Exploration — you leave the roll plaza. Guide: exploration.
  • Merchants — Prism sinks with rotating stock. Guide: merchants.
  • Luck-relief — dry streaks still pay. Guide: luck-relief.

If a YouTuber tells you to “just auto-roll,” they are playing a different Aura title. This game is sold as strategy on top of RNG. The session planner exists so you can give each login a job: redeem, explore, tree, or targeted lucky rolls — not all four mashed into twelve minutes.

How to play, how to get, how to complete

Search traffic for a new Roblox RNG game clusters around a few verbs. This hub routes them:

Launch-week honesty

The game publicly launched on 28 August 2026 after a June closed beta. The live client stamped an update on 30 August 2026 — see first-week notes. Named drop tables, exact node costs, and a frozen 42-name ladder are still settling. These guides teach decision rules you can reuse when Rival Ducks adds weekly content and a larger patch every two weeks. When a number is official (server size 8, 42+ characters, code rewards, weekly cadence), it is stated as a number. When a ranking is a framework, the tier list hub says so instead of inventing fake percentages.

Read launch notes if you want the timeline. Read the roadmap if you are deciding whether to spend Robux this week or wait for the next content beat.

Suggested reading order

  1. Getting started
  2. How to roll auras
  3. How to get Prism and beginner mistakes
  4. Build crafting
  5. Luck-relief
  6. Upgrade tree, exploration, and index and milestones in whichever order matches your session.

Keep official links nearby so Discord sneaks and group shouts can interrupt a bad plan. That is the point of a wiki on launch week: fewer panicked rolls, more deliberate ones.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Project: Aura players on Roblox.

Which Project: Aura guide should I read first?

Redeem RELEASE on the codes hub, then getting started. Rolling without a plan is how launch currency disappears.

Are these guides for the Steam game also named Project AURA?

No. This wiki is only the 2026 Roblox experience by Rival Ducks. The 2018 colony sim is a different product.

Do I need scripts to play well?

No. Strategy is the advertised skill cap. If you still want executors, start at script safety, not a random paste.

Where is the pity system explained?

On the luck-relief page. It is not a classic pity counter.
