Roadmap and Cadence

Rival Ducks printed a cadence on the experience page, which is rarer than a pretty Discord roadmap graphic. New content every week. Big gameplay updates every two weeks. This page is how to play around that clock so you do not empty Prism on Thursday and cry on Friday.

Pair it with launch notes for the history, first-week notes for 28–30 August, and the updates hub for the reread order after a patch.

Two clocks, two spending rules

Weekly content is usually a character, a cosmetic loop, a small stall, a code, or an event walk. Spending rule: do the new loop once, redeem if a code dropped, do not rebuild the build.

Biweekly gameplay is when systems move: upgrade tree nodes, luck-relief feel, merchant pricing, HUD. Spending rule: read the note, then touch the system that moved. This is when a session planner job named “reread the tree” is valid.

If you treat every weekly drop like a biweekly patch, you will never finish food uptime.

What Discord already told us to expect

Pre-launch Discord sold sneak peeks of unreleased characters, VFX, and mechanics. That pipeline does not stop at RELEASE. Expect:

  • Character drops that belong in the collection first and the tier list later
  • VFX that make plaza flexers reroll for no mechanical reason — ignore them
  • QoL that can replace a script legally (skip animation, better HUD). Wait for it if that was the only reason you wanted an executor

No official public Trello was confirmed at launch. When one exists, the links hub will carry it. Until then, announcements are Discord-first.

How to budget tickets around Friday

Keep a slice of lucky rolls across the week. Weekly characters are the correct time to aim a lucky ticket, not Monday panic. Standard tickets can still sample during the week. How to roll is the full rule; this page is the calendar overlay.

Keep a slice of Prism for biweekly patches. A new tree node that feeds your job is worth more than a merchant impulse snack on a random Tuesday. Merchants will still be there.

What we are not putting on a fake roadmap

  • Exact dates for named characters we have not seen
  • A promised trading post
  • PvP seasons
  • “Guaranteed S-tier in week three”

Those belong on rumor TikToks. This wiki will add rows when Rival Ducks says the words in an announcement or on the Roblox page.

Patch-day checklist

  1. Redeem any new code. How to redeem.
  2. Note whether the patch was weekly flavor or biweekly systems.
  3. Walk the new exploration corner once if a corner was added.
  4. Leave lucky tickets in the bag unless the patch created a hole in your job.
  5. Update the code checklist so you do not redeem-fail in front of seven other players.

Cadence is a gift. It means the game is not frozen. It also means patience is a build stat. Play the clock, not the panic.

Content versus systems — a sharper split

Content (weekly): a body for the collection, a stall, an event walk, a code, a particle. Your recipe should still work. If it does not, the recipe was a plaza flex.

Systems (biweekly): tree math, relief feel, merchant prices, HUD. This is when luck-relief or controls might need a reread. This is when a Prism buffer pays you.

If Discord’s title says “NEW CHARACTER” it is content. If it says “GAMEPLAY UPDATE” or lists node/combat/economy changes, it is systems. When it says both, treat it as systems: slower spend, one reread, then one loop.

Spending around a week you will be busy

Skip days are allowed. Incremental hybrids punish daily panic more than skipped Tuesdays. Keep RELEASE tickets in the bag across a busy week. Do not “catch up” with a 40-roll night. The session planner still wants one job when you return.

What a public Trello would change

If Rival Ducks publishes a board, this page will link it via the links hub and summarize shipped versus in-progress. We still will not copy every card into a 12-month fantasy calendar. Cards slip. Cadence on the Roblox page is the contract; Trello is the sketch.

Play the contract. Sketch is extra.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Project: Aura players on Roblox.

Is there a dated official roadmap?

The Roblox page gives weekly / biweekly cadence. Fine-grained dates live in Discord when they exist. This page will not invent them.

Should I wait to spend RELEASE Prism?

Spend on a clear tree node or mix-in. Hold a buffer for the next biweekly. Do not hold forever.

Do weekly updates add characters?

That is the expected shape of “new content,” but wait for the note. Bag first, rank later on the character tier list.

Where is Trello?

Not confirmed. Use Discord and this cadence page.
